Social Media: Minerva Horio Bio


FWM launched the Greek division of the company with a contract to provide search and social media marketing services for Horio Bio, the market leading organic olive oil brand from Minerva.
Objectives:
- Engage with the target audience through social media (KPI of 10,000 Facebook fans in five months)
- Drive traffic to the Horio website (KPI of 25,000 unique visitors in five months)
- Increase awareness of the brand and products
Strategy
- We created a Horio Facebook page with a number of tabs
- To encourage user interaction, we created a recipe tab where users could also upload recipes
- To encourage user engagement, we created a tab with brand-lead casual offers
- To increase ‘Likes’ and brand awareness we ran Facebook ads directing traffic both to the Facebook page and the Horio site
Results
- Achieved 18,000 Facebook page fans, 180% against the target, an average of 100 new fans per day
- Achieved 50,547 unique visitors within five months, 202% against the target, average of 278 unique visitors per day; of which 10,499 came via Facebook
- Fast Web Media’s strategy and digital thinking proved extremely effective in driving traffic and fans to the brand’s Facebook page and to the website, ensuring both Facebook and website are totally integrated
