The new site allows Colorsport to showcase some of the 10 million sports images in its archives. As well as providing editorial and commercial clients with ideas for photographic content, the site also allows Colorsport to promote the sale of prints and framed prints of some of the more iconic images in its archive.
FWM Director Stephen O’Malley said, “Fast Web Media has a strong track record of delivering bespoke websites and highly effective digital marketing services to our clients. Our digital sporting heritage made us an ideal partner for Colorsport, who we’re delighted to be working with.”
Established in the late 1960s, Colorsport has over 40 years experience in providing sports photographic solutions for clients such as The BBC and Sky Sports, National Newspapers, Football Clubs, Advertising Agencies, Book Publishers, Sports Equipment Manufacturers and Sponsors. Its archive spans over 125 years of UK and International sport and it’s adding to it on a daily basis.
Colorsport Chief Executive James Pinniger said: “This site is the first step towards, revamping our online offering for our Business Clients, as well as allowing us to develop a compelling offering for consumers. We hope that the site will become a “destination site” for fans of sports photography. We will be shortly launching a series of high-end limited editions art prints featuring some of the finest images in the Colorsport archive.”
