Fast Web Media has further developed our European client work by completing a comprehensive overhaul of Dutch furniture store Goossens Wonen en Slapen‘s e-commerce site.
Using Magento to deliver a wide range of new functionality, the new site features product image zoom, a product ratings system and a revamped one-step checkout, making it easier for users to browse and purchase their favourite items.
We have also launched a new area of the site called ‘Binnenkijken Bij‘, which allows customers to upload photos of their houses to the site and rate each others’ submissions.
Goossens has a satellite shop based in Belgium, called Betermuebel, and their site, also created by FWM, features similar functionality.
Launched in 2008, Magento is an open source e-commerce application that is widely regarded as one of the best e-commerce platforms available.
