Fast Web Media has helped Cobra Beer undertake a Spendidly Indian Adventure by building a Facebook mechanic for the brand’s new competition.
The activity is inspired by Cobra’s new television advert, which takes viewers on a train journey through the food, fashion, music and people of modern India.
To enter the competition, users pick two seats (one for themselves, one for a friend) on a Cobra train, which can be found on the Facebook page.
The grand prize is a trip to India, which includes amongst other things, three nights’ accomodation at the Svenska Design Hotel and a spending spree at fashion haven Bombay Electric.
Spot prizes, such as Cobra glassware, are also up for grabs if users select specially designated seats on the train. Trains leave every 24 hours, meaning spot prizes are given out daily.
The competition ends on Friday 27th April and is being supported by blog entries from Manou, B.L.O.T. and Vandana, who can be seen in the advert. Fast Web Media has integrated these blogs into the Facebook mechanic.
FWM has also adapted the Cobra website to reflect the competition and will run YouTube adverts to support it.
