Carling Beerfinder was launched to help increase drinker loyalty to pubs, as the first pub website to directly connect landlords and customers through an online community.
Drinkers can link to pubs and bars in their area, as well as to their mates and other local drinkers. Users can expand their network by identifying other drinkers who are friends of their locals, and they can see all activity posted by the landlords of locals in their network. Consumers can immediately share all their activity within Beerfinder and syndicate with their facebook page.
Landlords are able to promote their businesses to existing and potential customers, and update information in the picture and video galleries. The 'what's on' section promotes the latest special offers, new menus and events. Landlords can directly communicate with members in their pub network via updates and emails with the ultimate objective of driving footfall.
As well as receiving details on their local pubs, consumers can search for information on pubs right across the UK.
The Beerfinder community currently receives an average of 60,000 monthly visits, with over 45,000 pubs listed on the network.
