Search Marketing Sales Manager
Basic salary £28k OTE £55K PER ANNUM
Company Profit share scheme & New Business bonus scheme
Job Description
You will be ready to grow your own client base by generating leads and closing new business under the guidance and full support of the CEO and Head of Search who will provide you with all the tools and back up you need to complete your job effectively. You will have learned how to sell digital and/or search engine marketing and are now ready to prove yourself. You will have excellent proposal writing skills and a good consultative sales approach.
Your Key responsibilities will be:- Achieving and exceeding sales targets for SEO, PPC, Social Search and other digital marketing disciplines
- Lead generation including qualification and administration of incoming enquiries on our Salesforce CRM system
- Prospect management
- Search solution design / proposal creation
- Preparing for and handling effective meetings and customer communications
- Negotiation of terms and conditions to close deals
- Sales forecasting and reporting via Salesforce
We’re looking for a genuine team player who wants to develop a career in sales which builds on their excellent web, listening, writing and verbal communication skills. You may well have an operational background in Search Marketing, but wish to move to a Business Development role within this area. You’ll also exhibit:
- At least 3 years digital experience
- A resilient and tenacious personality whilst being willing to learn
- Exceptional skills in client education and communication as well as having the organisational skills to be capable of managing multiple opportunities and client relationships effectively
- The ability to work well with clients, liaise closely with in-house teams and understand how to draft up detailed proposal documentation and responses to client briefs
- Confidence when working with Google, Firefox, Word, Excel and PowerPoint beyond basic functions
